万年前灭绝 恐狼成功复活 从牙齿和头骨提取DNA培育

美国德州达拉斯（Dallas）一间生物科技公司Colossal Biosciences周一（7日）宣布，他们复活了约12,500年前灭绝的恐狼（Dire Wolf，《权力游戏》中译冰原狼）。这一消息登上《时代》杂志封面，全球首富马斯克（Elon Musk）对此也感兴趣，转发了这一封面。

Colossal Biosciences表示，他们透过包括基因编辑与克隆在内的科技，“从一颗1.3万年前的牙齿和一个7.2万年前的头骨中提取DNA并培育出健康的恐狼”。

公司称，他们使用家养犬作为代理孕母，孕育出3只恐狼，2只雄性恐狼2024年10月1日出生，一只雌性恐狼2025年1月30日出生，他们分别叫Romulus、Remus和Khaleesi。
